This problem is quite common, especially in big houses or two-storey / three-storey houses, it is usually seen that the signal from a modem placed in one room does not reach every room in the house.
If your house is old, whose walls are thick, then it becomes very difficult for the signal to go from one room to another on the same floor. Therefore, it is important to know its technical and cheaper solution.
The simplest solution is to install a range extender at home.
My residence is two-storey and is very large so the last room does not have signals. So I put a range extender whose picture you can see below.
You have to put it in a source of electricity. On and on, it will connect to your broadband modem's internet signal and further extend this signal to another antenna, easily 10–15 meters within the closed room and 40–50 meters in the open air.
After purchasing it, you'll find a method to configure it yourself in the package, or by entering the model number of the product, you'll find a self-help guide on that company's site, but still, I'm sharing a few steps Which are given below:
First, go to the company's site and register yourself, then find the model number and get a self-help guide.
Once turned on, the Range Extender will show you all the available WiFi connections, select the range you want to extend, and place your laptop/mobile on the same Wi-Fi connection.
For example, if you want to increase the range of test connections, select Test Connection and enter its password. After that, the Range Extender will automatically create another WiFi connection named Test_Ext. Your work is over here.
Here just keep in mind that in a new WiFi connection named Test_Ext, use the same password as you did in the original connection.
