Reliance Jio GigaFiber starting from September 5 2019, Know About Pricing Plans and Welcome Offer

Reliance Jio's fiber-to-home broadband service Jio GigaFiber is all set to arrive on September 2019, Country's newest telecom service provider Jio will start the commercial rollout of its FTTH broadband service, the date also marks the third birth anniversary of Reliance Jio. 

The Reliance company's chairman Mr. Mukesh Ambani announced the same at Reliance Industries 42nd annual general meeting (AGM). While Mukesh Ambani shared some details about the FTTH broadband service, exact tariff plans and bundles will go live on September 5, 2019. Other than internet high-speed data, Reliance Jio Giga Fiber customers will also get several freebies including LED TV with certain plans.

Here's all that Jio customers can get free and many more.

1.Free landline phone connection

All Reliance Jio GigaFiber customers will get a landline phone connection free at no additional cost.

2. Free voice calls across India on Reliance Jio landline connection

3. Jio GigaFiber subscribers to get 4K TV free, conditions apply

Reliance Jio GigaFiber customers will get 4K LED TV free. However, the offer is only for subscribers of Jio-Forever plans. Though exact details about these plans are not available, what is known is that these will be annual plans.

4. Reliance Jio GigaFiber plans to come bundled with free subscription of "most-leading premium OTT applications"

Reliance Jio GigaFiber plans will come bundled with free subscription of OTT applications. OTT applications include MX player, Netflix, Hot Star, and others. So far the company has not revealed the names of the OTT players it has tied up with.

5. Reliance Jio GigaFiber users will get the minimum speed of 100Mbps and maximum of 1Gbps

The base plan of Reliance Jio GigaFiber, priced at Rs 700, will offer a minimum speed of 100Mbps. The maximum speed offered will be 1Gbps or 1000Mbps, as per the company.

6. Jio GigaFiber plans will be available at a starting price of Rs 700

Reliance Jio GigaFiber plans will start at Rs 700 per month and go all the way up to Rs 10,000.

7. Jio GigaFiber customers can make unlimited calls to US and Canada at Rs 500/month

Jio GigaFiber customers will get unlimited calling to US and Canada at Rs 500 per month.

8. Reliance Jio GigaFiber customers will get to see movies ‘first-day-first-show.’

Reliance Jio GigaFiber subscribers will be able to see new movies on their release day itself under the company's 'First day, first show' offer. This plan will become active from mid-2020 as per the company.
